Our Journey

From one venture to a group of ten.

  1. The beginning

    Foundations in finance

    Founder Md. Yer Ali builds a fifteen-year career at First Lease International Ltd. (now First Finance Ltd.), rising to Executive Vice President before turning entrepreneur.

  2. First ventures

    Agro-based manufacturing

    Lalmoni Agro Ltd. and BD Feeds Ltd. are established — the first pellet-type cattle feed producers in the northern region of Bangladesh.

  3. Expansion

    Construction & real estate

    Ali Construction and Dredging and Ali Estate Agency extend the group into infrastructure works under BWDB and land development across the region.

  4. 2022

    Entertainment & cold chain

    Alibaba Theme Park opens its gates on the banks of the Teesta, and Ali Fruits & Vegetables Cold Storage begins preserving the region's harvest.

  5. 2026

    Care for the elderly

    Ali Ro-Jin Care Institute — a specialized geriatric care facility — is developed with technical collaboration from SocialTech Japan and Revival LLC.
